Happening Now in Mosul: Peshmerga attacks ISIS

Happening Now:

Violent clashes between Peshmerga and ISIS within the borders of Baa’sheeqa, Al-Shalalat (Waterfalls), Police Academy and Baa’weeza, northern Mosul. In addition to Al-Hamdaniya and Makhmour.

Asiacell [Iraqi Mobile Network] removes the ban over internet in Mosul after two months of complete cut out. The re-allowance of internet was timed with Peshmerga’s movement.

Mortar shells are being dropped on Al-Sukar neighbourhood, north eastern Mosul.

Yazidis are forced to declare their “Islam” in order to secure safety, water and food to their children and families after they were left without any place to go, alone in the mountain.

قذائف هاون تسقط على حي السكر شمال شرق الموصل

الايزيدية يضطرون لاعلان اسلامهم من اجل ضمان سلامتهم و الماء والغذاء لاطفالهم وعوائلهم بعد ان تركوا بلا مأوى وحيدين في الجبل.
